The main snare used in the Hybrid Series onwards is a uDrum Cherry Bomb, 3mm aluminium, 6x14. Evans G1 Coated on batter head, Evans Resonant on bottom head. www.udrum.com

Used as Secondary snare in the Overhead- and Blister Series.

14x5.5 DW PDP Snare
Used as secondary snare in the Tri-Cam and Dual-Cam series’.
Used as primary snare in the Overhead Series.

Note: The Overhead Series was recorded with a Pearl Export series kit. Toms were coated with Remo Pinstripes, batter sides were stock heads. The cymbal configuration was the same as stated below, as well as snare configuration.

더불어 이사람의 간략한 소개 . . .

My name is Cobus Potgieter, I am from South Africa and currently I’m 22 years old. Afrikaans is my main language and English my secondary, so please excuse poor language usage wherever it pops up :) I play the drums (for almost 6 years now) and I absolutely love it. Constant repetition and rhythm define who I am to quite a great extent. (I hope?) I’m a friendly guy and I try to be decent human being :)

I hate calling myself a Christian because of all the labels attached to it, but I love saying that I cannot live without my relationship with God. I didn’t have any choice about being able to drum, I was born with it and it’s something I am endlessly blessed with, you can’t shape a diamond if you don’t have one :) so.. Laus Deo Semper.

Furthermore I can say I am probably one the most passionate people you will ever meet. I try to live with my eyes open and I try to do what makes me truly happy. I have a hard time NOT doing and completing things I am passionate about at 100% (that’s why I put so much effort into my YouTube video’s..)

I think that’s pretty much it, describing myself has never been one of my strong points.. Anyway, thanks for stopping by :)
